While in between shifts at the Park Place Health Club, Wylie enjoys skiing, biking, skimboarding, surfing and all things extreme. Wylie enjoys travelling and is constantly heading off somewhere. He has an inability to say 'no' to the prospect for adventure, and this attribute has led him on many an interesting journey.

Katherine Taylor
 

BSc.Kinesiology, CSEP- Certified Personal Trainer

An honours graduate from Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario and an advocate for healthy living and disease prevention makes Katherine a multi dimensional trainer for individuals with variety of backgrounds.  Katherine joined the Park Place Health Team in September 2010 after deciding to make a life in Vancouver post Cross Canada cycling trip.  She has since made a career as a lifestyle consultant at Jenny Craig in Kitsilano, by providing a food, body, mind approach to weight loss. 

Katherine has designed weight loss/gain, strength training, muscle tone, and cardiovascular improvement programs for the past year on a one to one and a group fitness basis.  She has also worked as a group fitness teacher at The University of Western Ontario, and YWCA specializing in Cardio kickboxing and bootcamp fitness, and muscle conditioning classes. 

Katherine enjoys spending her free time hiking mountains, long distance running, and playing court and beach volleyball.

Katherine employs a positive, motivating, goal oriented attitude, and her passion and genuine concern to help others makes her a great personal trainer.  The qualifications she brings to Park Place Health Club include:

  • Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists Personal Trainer
  • CAN-FIT-PRO certified Group Fitness Instructor
